Shot using a Nikon D3100 with a Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8 at 13mm and two Yongnuo YN560-II Speedlights on either side of the rider.
After setting up the lighting and adjusting the settings, it took about 3-4 shots to get the one used above.

Shot using a Nikon D3100 with a Tamron 70-300mm f/4-5.6 at 70mm and two Yongnuo YN560-II Speedlights on either side of the rider.
We got this in three shots. I knew what I wanted, so I set everything up how it should be, and shot until I got one where his posture and face were in the picture how I had imagined it.

Shot using a D3100 with the Nikkor 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 at 24mm and two Yongnuo YN560-II Speedlight. One to the front of him, and the other behind him creating a nice rim light and the shadow on the ground.
After setting up the lighting, this took about an hour to get. He was having ‘one of those days’ so the board just wasn’t flipping how he wanted.

It took about 10 tries to get this picture. I had to get close so I ended up getting hit by the board, but I think it paid off.

This shot took a about 15 tries as this was the first time the bench had been skated so he kept on sticking.

This shot took about 10 tries to get. It is hard to get the timing right when shooting a Hardflip.
